Baby gifts for the newborn

A new baby gift for the baby itself: baby nests, decorative cushions, knitted blankets, bath sets and gift sets with baby toys. Everything is suitable from 0 months and can be gift wrapped with a card carrying your own message.

What do you give as a new baby gift?

For a small gift or a baby shower, choose a rattle, a soft touch-and-feel book or a bath set with a hooded towel and bath thermometer. For something bigger, a baby nest, a knitted merino or bamboo baby blanket, or a set of cushions for the nursery are common choices. Not sure yet? Our blog lists baby gift ideas by budget.

Baby gift for a boy or a girl

Most gifts here come in several colours. Beige, cream and grey are neutral and fit any nursery; there is also pink, blue and mint. If you do not know the sex yet, or barely know the parents, a neutral colour or a gift card is the safest choice.

Original and personal

With the Rabbit Karo, MOUSE and NATURE gift sets you choose yourself which toys go in, so no two sets have to be the same. We can wrap every gift in brown paper with a ribbon, baby nests in a bag with a window, and add a printed card. We never put an invoice or receipt in the parcel. Not sure what the parents still need? The baby registry shows exactly what they picked themselves.

Thinking of the mother too?

Then have a look at baby gifts for the mother: postpartum recovery products, nursing pillows and changing bags.

Use a baby nest in the cot — that is where it works best — in the playpen, on the floor or next to you on the sofa, always under the supervision of a parent. Stop using it as soon as your baby can roll over by themselves.
